Areas of application
Quantec Signals GmbH offers a comprehensive range of obstacle marking systems customized for a wide variety of applications. Our products ensure maximum visibility and safety—from industrial facilities to high-rise buildings and towers. Our systems feature state-of-the-art technology, ensuring high energy efficiency and reliability. Here you will find the right components for your concept and area of application:
For small facilities
Control solutions and obstacle lights for radio towers and exhaust air systems
Our system includes a single or redundant dual light, with or without an integrated power supply. The lights can therefore be easily connected directly to an existing power supply (24V/230V). It is also possible to connect multiple lights in series. The lights are available with an optional integrated brightness sensor and infrared. Mounting is optional via a installation kit or a mast bracket.
In addition, our Tower Base Box (Tufu Box) Mini can be integrated into the system to display visual error messages centrally. This box can be connected directly to a 230V power supply. An error message in the event of a light failure is integrated into the box. The Tower Base Box (Tufu Box) Mini is designed for indoor and outdoor use and supports connection to a single light detector or a redundant dual light detector.

For medium-sized facilities
Control solutions and obstacle lights for chimneys, industrial facilities, and transmission towers
This system is designed for lighting larger facilities and multiple levels.
Our system consists of one or more single or redundant dual lights for connection to a Connectbox, which incorporates the power supply. Various obstacle warning lights can be connected to this system in accordance with applicable regulations. This box requires a 230V power supply. An error message in the event of a light failure is integrated into the box. The Connectbox Maxi is designed for indoor and outdoor use. It allows for the connection of up to 8 single lights or 4 redundant dual lights (24V).
When used in conjunction with our Tower Base Box (Tufu Box), the Connectbox Maxi can also be installed across multiple levels. In this expanded system, several individual Connectboxes are connected in series to our Tower Base Box (Tufu Box). This allows even very high aviation obstacles, which need to be marked at different heights, to be illuminated. Our through-wall lights with mounting plates, as well as other regulation-compliant obstacle lights such as our Photon, can also be connected to this sophisticated system. The lights are also available with infrared as an option. Mounting is optional depending on the installation possibilities, using a suitable mounting kit or mast bracket.
This system, which can be expanded with up to 8 Connectboxes, can be connected directly to a SCADA or building management system when used in conjunction with our intelligent control unit—the Tower Base Box (Tufu Box). An integrated display in the Tower Base Box (Tufu Box) indicates the error message for each individual light and per level. Day/night control via the external brightness sensor is also integrated into the Tower Base Box (Tufu Box).

Building
QuantQuantec Signals offers the right solution for every application.
Basic concept
The Quantec Building AC Cabinet Basic supports the connection of up to ten 230V lights. With the optional integrated power supply, 230V or 24V lights can be connected. A day/night control system using an external brightness sensor is built into the cabinet. This cost-effective model includes a collective error message for the connected lights.
Advanced concept
The Quantec Building AC Cabinet Advanced combines the power supply and monitoring of up to ten 230V lights in a single housing. Status and error messages, as well as the ability to override the brightness sensor, are accessible via a web page. 230V or 24V lights can be connected to the control cabinet, which is equipped with a display for light status and, optionally, an integrated power supply. Day/night control via the external brightness sensor is also integrated into the cabinet. Connection to a SCADA/building management system via a network connection is easily possible. Optionally, a separate UPS cabinet can be connected to all AC building cabinets.

Comprehensive system solutions
Our strength lies in our well-designed, comprehensive solutions for obstacle lighting systems—customized for a wide range of applications, such as high-rise buildings, communication towers, chimneys, and cranes.
We provide significantly more than just individual components. Our engineers develop robust, standards-compliant complete systems that integrate perfectly into your existing infrastructure—including state-of-the-art control technology, energy-efficient LED lighting, and a comprehensive range of accessories.
Safety is always our top priority. All systems comply with national and international regulations such as ICAO, AVV, and FAA, and are designed to withstand even extreme weather conditions—from arctic cold to maritime environments. Thanks to intelligent real-time remote monitoring, we can keep a constant eye on operational status, maintenance needs, and system functions—ensuring reliable operation with minimal effort.
A state-of-the-art and efficient obstacle lighting system must not only be technically reliable, but also to remain cost-effective in the long term. That is why, when we develop our solutions, we place a high value on a low total cost of ownership (TCO)—that is, the total costs over the entire lifecycle.
